Types of sites.
Depending on the technology of the following types of sites:
1. Static sites that contain static HTML or XHTML pages. Static web pages – are static files (a set of text, tables, figures, etc.) which are created using a markup language HTML (have extension html) and stored in a completed form in the file system of the server.
2. Dynamic sites, in which Web pages are generated or formed (created dynamically) during the execution of the user request. Dynamic sites are of two types. In the first type of sites, Web pages are generated or formed from data stored on the server in a database. In the second type of sites Web pages are generated on the client side (browser).
3. Flash-sites – are interactive applications developed in the environment of Macromedia Flash. The main instrument of the development of flash-programming is a vector graphics (interactive vector animation for Web). Flash gives sites dynamic and interactive.
4. Combined sites that use the above technologies of creating the sites.
Sites according to user’s interaction with the resources of the web page can be divided into passive and active or interactive.
Passive sites – are sites with passive web pages. In the passive sites a user can only view information on web pages. Interactive sites – are sites with active Web pages. When working with interactive web pages a user has the ability to communicate with the server, to participate in an interactive dialogue.

Technology of creation of static sites’ web page: language HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), which is a hypertext markup language and cascading style, sheets CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). CSS is used for processing and formatting the various elements of web pages, resulting in significantly reduced the size of Web pages.
